Formulas for Special Medical Needs

For patients who need a diet that is low in sodium, phosphorous and protein but need ‘high quality’ protein.

Nutrition that is low in sodium salt, added sugars, saturated and trans fat.

Nutrition that is high in fibre but low in fat, sugar and salt.

As the body ages, the ability to absorb vitamins decreases so essential nutrients that include calcium, vitamin D, vitamin B12, fibre and potassium are needed.

Nutrition that avoids ingredients likely to raise blood sugar levels.

Nutrition that completely avoids high protein ingredients.

These are the building blocks of life and patients with low levels need extra help to stay healthy.

Infants with CMPA and have an allergic reaction to cow’s milk, need to switch to a hypoallergenic formula.
